To our Brüt Community,
We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our Brüt SF St. Patrick’s Day Event on Saturday, March 14th in light of the COVID-19 situation in San Francisco. As most of you know, the city has recommended cancelling non-essential large community events for the next two weeks and Brüt and the Great Northern take this recommendation seriously.
While public health officials continue to also take the situation at hand seriously and thoroughly investigate transmission routes as the number of cases increase, we are committed to do our part to help protect our staff, attendees, the LGBTQ community, and fellow San Franciscans. While this also means financial losses to the venue, venue staff, production staff, producers, performers and so many more, we are all in agreement that the health, safety, and solidarity of our community comes first.
For those of you who have purchased tickets, we’ll be issuing you refunds via the method you purchased them. Please bear with us as we work through the process with our ticket vendor to make this happen. We hope to make this as smooth and quick as possible, but it may take up to 1-2 weeks to complete.
As a community who is not unfamiliar with dealing with situations like these, we are strong, we will persevere, and this too shall pass. In the meantime, we feel this is the best way to demonstrate our taking responsibility and showing that we care. We look forward to seeing everyone at our BRÜT - SF Pride 50th Anniversary w/ Pagano and Calagna Event on June 27th at The Great Northern.
Stay safe and healthy friends!
